For the past 3+ years, I’ve been researching transportation equity with the Transit Access Project at UofT.

The group was spun out of some Engineering Without Borders work waaaaay back, and we’ve run multiple low/free-fare pilots for various groups in Toronto since then.

This most recent research was built around a survey of 173 social service agencies in the city about the transportation needs of the vulnerable populations that they served. We created the survey, disseminated it, and analysed the results to try and better understand where shortcomings actually lay in transit provision.

There’s a lot to dig into, so feel free to reach out with any questions!
